The spectacular Teutschenthal track ” Talkessel” hosted the ninth round of the FIM Motocross World Championship 2023. The weekend was characterised by summery weather and a large crowd, which accompanied the riders throughout the entire race weekend. After nine months of “retiremint” our Belgian rider felt really good on the Standing Construct Honda.
On saturday at the tough, rutted Teutschenthal circuit in Germany, Jeremy managed to finish the qualifying race in eleventh place. The Standing Construct rider was the author of an excellent performance in the tough both races. Under very hot conditions he rode his Honda CRF450RW in the first race to an eleventh place. In the second race he did even better with a excellent ninth place, ending the German MXGP in an unespected ninth place overall. Jeremy will not ride the two upcoming MXGP’s in Indonesia. This decision comes in the wake of Brian Bogers sustaining a shoulder injury during the Qualifying Race at the MXGP of Germany in Teutschenthal on Saturday 10 th July. Next race will be 16 July MXGP of Czech Republic – Loket.
Jeremy Van Horebeek: “P9 after a heavy but nice day ! Missing some fitness for the moto’s but nice feeling after all those months off the racetrack, Thank you @standinghondamxgp for the great work ! Now time to build from here and enjoy the process #team89“
