The second round of the FIM Motocross World Championship was held this weekend in Mantova, about 50 km from Verona. Jeremy immediately had a good feeling on the light sandy traxck “Tazio Nuvolari” and put down some brilliant results on saturday during practice sessions. He rode his Factory SDM Corse Beta to a third time and ended eight in the qualifying race.
In race 1 he was held up at the start and on the first lap he was in 12th position.Due excellent pace “The Jerre” gained several positions during the race and ended up in 9th position.
Due a better start in the second race the Beta rider could stay very close to the top 5, riding simular laptimes during the whole race. Jeremy closed the race in a brilliant eight position, in the overall GP and world standings we see Jerre on a eight position. In two weeks we will have the MXGP of Patagonia in Argentina.
Jeremy Van Horebeek; “Not bad for an “ OLD “ Guy ! Good day yesterday with a P9 and P8 for 8th overall also in the championship i’m doing good and really happy about that ! Track was not easy but still enjoyed it ! Thanks for the support ! #team89“
