MXGP 01 Great Britain

This weekend we had the first MXGP of the FIM Motocross World Championship, after the season opener was canceled due the very bad weather conditions by the passing storm “Eunice”. The hard-pack circuit of Matterley Basin in Winchester is one of the most favorite GP on the calendar for riders and also for the spectators due the great overview of the track. We also turned back to the normal two days format which means the return of the Qualifying races on saturday.

On saturday we saw great results in the free and time practice from our Belgian rider on the factory Beta RX 450. Jeremy finished 7th in qualifying race thanks to an excellent race and good pace during the whole race.

Our SDM Corse rider put in a more than great preformance during the first race, “The Jerre” tooked a very good and solid start and after the first turn he was in the top ten. The Beta factory rider kept a good pace on the very technical track and finished in a tenth position. Also in the second race we saw Jeremy again a perfect start and gained some positions in the first corner, which put him in seventh position. Jeremy rode another good heat improving his result with a ninth position.

Next weekend we move to Mantova for the second MXGP.
