The racing continued here in Turkey as we had the second Grand Prix at the Afyon circuit with the Bitci MXGP of Afyon. So the same veneu as we had on sundays GP, but with some small changes to the rutty and bumpy hard track. For the second time the results here were not what we hoped for on this new and challenging track, also the heat an
In time practice Jeremy didn’t get further than a 14th time on his factory Beta 450 RX, but he secured a reasonably start gate.
In race 1 unlucky he was involved in a crash at the first corner and started last. On this fast and treacherous track it was hard to gain some positions. Once our SDM corse rider found the right rhythum, he managed to end the race in 20th position. Under a bright sun and high temperatures the second race got started. Jerre got off to a great start and came through the first left corner in 10th place. Despite being focused on making as few mistakes as possible, he still lost some positions in the first lap of the race, due a rider that crashed in front of him what put him to 16th position. Unfortunately in lap 3 an electronic problem obliged “The Jerre” to stop DNF.
Now we have a 2 weeks break before we head to Riola Sardo for the 10th round of the FIM Motocross World Championship.
