Italian International Championship R1 Riola Sardo

Jeremy and Beta had their debute at the season opener in the Italian Championship on the sandy track of Riola Sardo, in the western side of the beautiful Sardinia island coast.

In time practice Jerre rode his new Beta RX450 to a 8th place, Jorge Prado took the pole position. Our BETA-SDM CORSE MX TEAM factory rider took a pretty good start around seventh place. After a few laps he found his rythme and could pass Montecelli and Lupino for 6th and 5th place, Half way the race he passed Febvre and finished on a great 4th place !!! In the Superfinal our Belgian rider rode his Beta RX450 from 8th to a 4th place. What a debute for Jerre on the brand new factory Beta RX450. Next race will be next sunday 7 March in Alergho for the second round of the Italian International Championship.

Jeremy Van Horebeek; First of all really proud to be part of this special day to be behind a startgate with @betamotor1905 after such a long time not having a motocross bike and knowing that a few months ago there was not even a motocross bike to go racing so really happy to get the bike going today with a good day to start of P4 and P4 for the races today is something to be happy with ! We still have work to do but I think we showed that we are on the good way and not far of good racespeed … today it was all about learning more about the bike and we got some really good info ! Thanks for all the support and a big thank you to the team.”
