MXGP of Lommel

Today we had the last Grand Prix of the Belgian triple-header. The MXGP of Lommel was the 15th round of the FIM Motocross World Championship. The track had some lay out changes on sectors three and four, what gave the riders new challenges and interesting races.

Dispite Jeremy his bad start (around 20th) in the first race, he rode more than a great race. In the deep sand and on the new lay out, he came back from 20th to 6th place. In the last lap he made a little mistake so he ended the race in 9th. The start of the second race was much better for our Belgian rider, and dived into the top 5 after the first corner. On his private Honda SR Motoblouz, he was even able to keep Gajser behind for the first four laps. But in the last lap with only a few corners to go, he ran out of fuel when he was in 5th place !!! He ended the second race in 15th and 10th overall. Up to Italy where we will get the last 3 gp’s of the season.

Jeremy van Horebeek; “Well great day of riding yesterday ! Felt really good on my bike and the difficult track first moto bad start and Coming from p17 to p6 felt great a Bummer from my last lap crash that put le back in 9th but stil great riding ! 2nd moto a top 5 start witch makes racing a lot more easy , i had really good flow and speed and had to finish in P5 but 200 meters from te finish i was out of fuel so DNF the race … it’s hard to accept but it is what it is ! I stil can ride on a high level and with Some amazing speed and that’s the most important
