MXGP of Asia

For the second year in a row the MXGP of Asia was held this weekend in Semarang, Indonesia. This is also the second MXGP on Asian ground, but on a different Island. Semarang is the capital and largest city of central Java province Indonesia.

In the previous MXGP in Palembang our rider suffered with the heat and high humidity. Jeremy and the SR Honda Motoblouz crew stayed in Indonesia and made directly the trip from Palembang to Semareng, so Jeremy had some more time to get used to the Indonesian high conditions. That seems to work because we saw a strong Jerre the whole weekend long. On saturday he rode his SR Honda Motoblouz to a seventh place in the qualifying race. In the first race on sunday he came by in 10th in the first lap. After a crash by Febvre, Jerre moved to 9th. In the following laps he could passed easy Paulin and Monticelli and tooked 7th place. Half way the race he battled with the Brit Anstie for 6th, in the last laps he secured his 6th place. Gajser won the race in front of Tonus and Seewer. The start in the second race went great for Jerre and he managed a top 5 place. In a battle for the 4th place with Paulin he made a little crash on the whoops and felt back to 12th. It tooked a little while to found the right rythem back, but after a few laps “The Jerre” was on fire and fought back to a great 10th place. Gajser won again in front of Jonass and Tonus. Jerre ends the GP in 7th place in the world champioship standing he moved up from 9th to 8th. We get a 2 weeks break now before we head to Europe for the MXGP of Czech Republic in Loket.
